Factory Framework - Production Tracking System

In general, Field Data Capture Systems called as Shop Floor Automation in AI/DC (Automatic Identification and Data Capture) sector are seen as capturing data from some certain devices or data capture by placing a barcode reader on the line or placing a barcode writer and applicator and printing automatic label. Trinoks has carried out data capture transactions from the production field in this way for long years and has developed active directing and instant data capture and directing structure for increasing the efficiency in real means in production by bringing this mentioned data capture process from only being a passive data capture. This software architecture is based on only reading data in existing systems and it has been transformed into more efficient data capture by using industrial computers and various sensors. There are various amounts of hardware components used in the system.

These are:

·         Industrial computers resistant to industrial environments and working with

          Linux operating system

·         Various sensors (heat sensors, humidity sensors, distance – proximity

          sensors, touch sensors)

·         Barcode reader guns connected to industrial computers

·         Over-line panels driven by industrial computers

·         Various fixed line barcode readers on the line

·         Industrial forklift computers on forklifts and barcode readers connected to

them which can read remotely (13M)

·         RFID Tag Readers on forklifts

·         RFIT Tags with led (Pick-To-Light) on pallets used for finding pallet

·         Applicators and barcode writers for printing automatic label on lines

·         RF Wireless Equipment and Access Points for wireless communication

          of devices

·         Communication with different PLCs and directing the flows in production

lines, stopping the production, lifting and stops and monitoring errors with PLCs

While developing Factory Framework, Trinoks has used Linux Operation Systems, Java Programming Language and 3-Layer Architecture as software architecture and used PostgreSQL databases on industrial computers for database and Oracle database in center. In the system which works with distributed database, Linux operation system has been selected as the main operating system with its plug & play easy installation architecture and 7/24 uninterrupted operation availability. Instead of replacing PLCs, Factory FrameWork has been developed for changing the strict methods in data capture with simple parameters and for more effective data capture and easier production monitoring.
